Most shops keep a light cleaner for interiors, something heavier for vinyl and wheel wells, and a degreaser for the engine bay. Solution is all three. Which one you get is decided by how much water you add to it.
It works by emulsification rather than brute force. Instead of burning through soil the way a caustic degreaser does, it surrounds the dirt and lifts it off the surface, which is why the same chemistry that's safe on leather at 10:1 can still pull baked grease off a subframe at 1:1. It's pH balanced, so it isn't eating whatever it's cleaning while it works.
Safe on leather, vinyl, plastics, tires, wheels, fender wells, undercarriage, engines and paint.

Dilution Guide
The 32 oz. arrives pre-mixed with a sprayer on it. The gallon is concentrate. Ratios are parts water to one part Solution, and prices are per 16 oz. of ready-to-use product mixed from the $39.00 gallon.

32 oz. or gallon? The 32 oz. arrives ready to use with a sprayer, no mixing and no measuring, and works out to $11.50 per 16 oz. The gallon is where the value sits: at the 10:1 interior ratio it costs $0.44 per 16 oz. and fills 44 ready-to-use 32 oz. bottles. Buy the 32 oz. for convenience, buy the gallon if you go through it.
Pro tip: at the 10:1 interior mix, spray the towel and not the panel. Overspray lands on glass, screens and headliner, and you'll spend longer chasing it than you saved.
Label your bottles. Three ratios that look identical in a clear sprayer is how a 1:1 engine mix ends up on a door card.
