Fabric RX handles what a general carpet cleaner can't: tannin stains from coffee, tea and wine, water stains and browning, plus pH neutralizing and fabric softening after an aggressive clean.
Two ways to use it
The stain work is done straight from the bottle. The 32 oz. ships with a sprayer, so it's ready to go. Only the neutralizing step gets diluted, at 10:1, which needs a second bottle to mix into. Prices are per 16 oz. of ready-to-use product.

32 oz. or gallon? Most of what Fabric RX does is straight out of the bottle, so buy the size that matches how often you actually pull stains. For a lot of shops that's the 32 oz. The gallon makes sense if you neutralize after every extraction, since the 10:1 mix stretches it a very long way.
Directions
Tannin stains, use straight. Apply directly to the stain. Place a clean towel over it and apply pressure with a brush or your hand to soak the stain out of the fibers. Rotate the towel and press again, repeating until you get the result you want.
Water stains and browning, use straight. Apply directly to the affected area. Massage it into the surface with a microfiber towel, then follow with a clean, dry towel. Let it dry, inspect, and repeat if needed.
pH neutralizing, dilute 10:1. About 2.9 oz. Fabric RX to 29.1 oz. water fills a 32 oz. bottle. Apply directly to the surface, then lightly brush with a carpet brush to spread the product evenly over the fibers.
Note: Cleaning a tannin stain with an alkaline cleaner first will set the stain. Always treat the isolated stain area with Fabric RX before anything else touches it.
