Urine, blood, vomit, food spills, grease: these bond into the fiber rather than sitting on top of it. Super Spot is enzyme based, so it breaks the organic material down instead of just pulling the color out of it. Nothing is left in the carpet to re-stain or start smelling again on the first humid day.
That's also why it wants a little contact time. The enzymes are doing chemistry, and chemistry takes a minute. This is not a spray and wipe.
The formula is non-sudsing, so it rinses and extracts clean and leaves no tacky residue behind in the fiber. The spot you treated in March doesn't turn into the darkest patch on the carpet by June.
Works on carpet, floor mats and upholstery. The Shine Supply bottle has dilution marks on the side, so you're not guessing at the mix.

16 oz. or gallon? Mixing takes $21.00 of concentrate down to $5.25 an ounce-for-ounce, and the gallon takes it to $1.53, about 71% less again. In working bottles, the 16 oz. fills two 32 oz. spray bottles and the gallon fills sixteen. If spot cleaning is part of every job, the gallon pays for itself in a few details.
Pro tip: give it time. Spray it, agitate it into the fiber, then go do something else and come back before you extract. The enzymes need those few minutes on the spot to finish what they started.
